Water is life — and learning to catch, store, and reuse it wisely is one of the most empowering skills you can develop. In this practical workshop we design and demonstrate real water systems you can implement at home.
Curriculum includes:
• Reading your landscape for water flows and collection points
• Sizing and siting rain barrels, cisterns, and swales
• Earthworks: berms, swales, and keyline plowing concepts
• Greywater laundry-to-landscape systems (legal in Oregon)
• Mulched basin design for trees and garden beds
• Codes, permits, and best practices
Includes a full site design worksheet and resource guide. Limited group size ensures personalized attention.
